Police are confirming they have found the body of seven-year-old Hser Nay Moo. There have been arrests made, but they are not currently providing much more information.

South Salt Lake Police Chief Chris Snyder confirmed that Hser Nay Moo’s body was found in the bathroom of an apartment in the complex where her family lived.

Snyder says police were conducting a grid search of the apartment complex. They had previously been unable to search that apartment as no one had been home, but during this final search someone answered and allowed police in. Police then found evidence that led to the discovery of the girl’s body.

The four suspects that were in the apartment were taken into custody. A fifth suspect was apprehended in the Fort Union area. It is unknown if the suspects knew the girl.

Snyder says there was some trauma to the body, but didn’t provide further detail. He said it is not known when she died.

I was driving on the freeway when they canceled the Amber Alert, and my stomach dropped. But I was hopeful it was something else. Alas, it was not. There will be no happy ending for this child, and for this child’s family.

The Trib is reporting that a body has been found in the apartment building where Hser Nay Moo lived.

It looks as though she is dead. If so, Godspeed, Hser Nay Moo.

A seven year old girl, Hser Nay Moo, is missing from Salt Lake City, and I do NOT wish to see a repeat of the Destiny Norton situation. I would hope this child is found safely, but as the hours tick away, things look more and more bleak.
