Calendar Kitty is very, very ill. Many of you enjoyed his antics (ahem, well, anyway, the antics of the children) as they posed the cat for some pictures last December.

Unfortunately, something got ahold of CK last night, and really did a number on him. He has pretty grievious wounds in both his neck and tail, and we took him to the vet, but it met with lots of head shaking and suggestions that my children were not ready to embrace.

Dancing Daughter and Chatter Child are devastated. I’m not holding out much hope. The injuries are severe.

I always tried to keep CK inside, but he had a desire to roam, and roam he did.

I suspect by tomorrow morning, we will be wishing him Godspeed.

Roam, Calendar Kitty. Remember, you were immortalized on the Trapped by the Mormons Blog, and even though to some that may seal your fate in hell, I say it will simply free you and send you to a better place.
