My friend Allison hits the New York Times List
Allison Brennan, a good friend of mine, just hit the New York Times Bestselling list….
WAY TO GO ALLISON!! Here it is, the feeling, in her own words, stolen from her blog.
I am still shaking with the news, but THE PREY hit the NY Times extended list at #33. I keep having typos as I’m trying to write this, so I’m leaving it short and sweet . . . thank you to everyone who bought my book and those who recommended it! Remember what I was saying about buzz? It’s word of mouth that helped propel my debut novel to become a bestseller.I am amazed and giddy and I was giggling this afternoon. I do NOT giggle. My agent was near tears, and she’s not a crier.
Time to celebrate. I’m going shopping
You shop, girl. We’ll be cheering you on…..

Awww, that’s wonderful! I’ve been meaning to pick up her book but just haven’t done so yet. Glad to have the reminder.

I see Allison’s book everywhere. But Amazon has still not mailed me my copy, I am irked, but very happy for Allison. And I am so looking forward to this read.

Thanks guys! Cele, it’s because you ordered all three books together, so they’re waiting until THE KILL comes out. A friend of mine did the same thing.
Love your new digs, Natalie. I remember when I saw the design before it was posted and loved it, but it’s so cooooooooollllllll live!

Okay, it worked. I was on my way out of the grocery store tonight, when I saw it. The Prey. So, of course, I dropped my bags, crossed to the self checkout in the next aisle and, a minute and a half later, was the proud owner of my own copy. I had a rough day, and I deserve it. So there.

WOO HOO! Go Caryn. Sorry to hear you had a rough day, though. Hope it isn’t anything major.

How cool! Congrats, Allison! Natalie, just wanted to let you know that the link to Allison’s site is broken in the post, though.
